Full Picture’s cookie notice can be easily set up to comply with GDPR, CCPA and other privacy policies.

Settings with disabled geolocation

When geolocation is disabled, you can only choose when your visitors will be tracked – from the moment they visit the page, or after they agree to cookies.

The first option meets EU’s, Mexico’s and Nigeria’s privacy and cookie laws. Choose it if some of your visitors come from these countries. Since this is the strictest setup you can choose, it automatically complies with less strict regulations from other countries.

Choose the second option if your visitors don’t come from the above-mentioned countries.

No matter which option you choose, the notice will show to all visitors. If they click “decline” button, the tracking tools (that use cookies) will be disabled.

When you enable the geolocation module, the cookie notice setting will change to give you more granular control on how the cookies are loaded in different countries.

You will have an option to choose countries where visitors will have an option to:

  • Opt-in to cookies – tracking tools will be loaded only when they agree to cookies
  • Opt-out from cookies – tracking tools will be loaded the moment someone enters the site, but they will be able to disable tracking by declining cookies.

It is important to know, that countries that are not mentioned in any of these groups will not see the notice. In such case, tracking tools will be loaded in these countries the moment people enter the site without a way to be disabled.
