How to show cookie notice after it has been closed

Full Picture’s cookie notices hides after a visitor accepts or declines cookies and doesn’t show up on consecutive page loads. However sometimes you may want to give visitors an option to see them again. Or see it for yourself – to tweak something.

There are 2 ways you can do it.

#1 With an “open cookie settings” button

Full Picture provides you with a special HTML class “fp-show-cookie-notice”. If you add this class to a link or a button it will open the cookie settings. You can add this button in your privacy policy to allow your users to easily change their choices.

#2 With a magic URL

If you don’t want to use the option above but you still need to see the cookie notice you can:

  1. visit your site from an address with “?tracking=off” added to the end of the URL, e.g. example.com?tracking=off
  2. click an icon of an eye in the bottom left corner of the screen.

After you do that the cookie notice popup should show again.

Please note however that it will only work if:

  1. You did not change the keyword “tracking” in Full Picture’s settings.
  2. You are not logged in as an administrator or a user whose role is exluded from tracking
