This feature is available in Full Picture 4.4 and later
Different countries require the notice to work differently in order to protect the privacy of their citizens. That is why Full Picture’s cookie notice can be set up to work in different modes:
- Opt-in
- Opt-out
- And “only inform”
If you have the geolocation module disabled, you will be able to choose only one of these behaviours.

In such case, all the visitors will be treated the same – no matter where they browse from.
On the other hand, when you enable geolocation, you will be able to choose different modes for different countries, or, enable the “automatic cookie notice setup” to let Full Picture choose the best settings depending on the visitor’s location.
Opt-in mode
The notice in this mode will load cookies and allow tracking your visitors* only after visitors agree to cookies. Visitors will be able to decline tracking by clicking the “Decline” button or (optionally) adjusting their cookie preferences in the “Cookie settings” panel of the notice.
* This only applies to tools that use cookies. Those that do not, will be loaded the moment a webpage is loaded. Visitors will not be able to opt-out from tracking by these tools by declining cookies.
Opt-out mode
Cookie notice running in this mode will load cookies and allow tracking visitors from the moment they open the page. Visitors will, however, still be able to opt-out from tracking by clicking the “decline” button.
* This only applies to tools that use cookies. Those that do not, will be loaded the moment a webpage is loaded. Visitors will not be able to opt-out from tracking by these tools by declining cookies.
“Only inform” mode
When the cookie notice uses this mode, cookies will be loaded and visitors will be tracked from the moment the page is loaded. Visitors will not be able to opt-out from tracking. The “Decline” and “Cookie settings” buttons will be unavailable for visitors.
